if you are into the jamboree celebrations that Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros brings to the stage, then you should plug your ears into Ima Robot.
The lead singer of Edward Sharpe, Alex Ebert, started this band over 10 years ago, and although all of their old stuff is far from what LA hippie clan offer, their new stuff is expected to bring a little more congruity in their music (between his two groups). Dance-punk meets a hippie jamboree - is what we can expect.
Ima Robot took a break for a over a year for the Ed Sharpe tour. Now, the band is back with a new album "Another Mans Treasure" set be be released this fall. Until then, check out their latest single "Ruthless" here. pretty great video, don't ya think?!
